How can I place an order?
You can place an order via the contact form on the website or via a message on Instagram or Whatsapp.
To ensure that the order runs smooth, it is advisable to provide as much information as possible.
If the order has been discussed together, any deposit has been paid or if you have received a written confirmation of a reservation date, you will be registered in my Cake Calendar!

How far in advance can I order a cake?
As soon as the pick up date is known, you can order the cake.
If you don't have all the information, you can also reserve a place in my agenda.

No later than 1 week before the pick-up date, I will need all the information about the final order. 

Do you also make fondant cakes?
Yes, BSD makes cakes with fondant, modeled characters and everything that our imagination can create when creating or designing a cake for Birthdays, Baptisms, Weddings, Graduations, etc.

 

Can I send a sample photo?
Sample photos can certainly be forwarded for inspiration.
I also like it when there is room left for my own creative interpretation.


What's the best way to store a cake?
Cakes are best kept in a refrigerator. About an hour before cutting your cake, you can pull the cake from the refrigerator and bring it to room temperature. Then the cake is tastier.
The leftover pieces of cake can then be stored for another 3 to 5 days, provided they are packed airtight and kept in the refrigerator.
NEVER place the cake near a heater, hot blower or in direct sunlight. This will melt the buttercream quickly if it were the case.
In the case of fondant it is different, it can be kept longer out of the fridge, at a room temperature of 20 degrees Celsius.

 

Do you also deliver cakes?
Yes, BSD delivers to Wassenaar, Leiden and The Hague areas. We are open to suit to your needs at the time of delivery.

When can I pick up the cake?
The day and time of collection is always agreed upon mutual consultation. The cake is firmest for transport when it has just come out of the refrigerator.
At the agreed time I make sure that the cake is nicely packaged.

All cakes are perfectly packed to be transported safely.

 

Can I cancel my order?
Canceling or changing an order is possible free of charge up to 1 week before the pick-up date.
If you cancel after 1 week before the pick-up date, costs will be charged. If a deposit has been made, these costs will be deducted from the deposit.

How can I pay?
Payment can be made in cash or by means of a payment request. Payment is always made in advance or during the pick-up of your order.
